Rooted in the Word - Take Time in ‘09

Part of our mission statement at Vinland calls us to be Rooted in the Word…the word of God.  We have chosen to follow the example set by the ELCA to become more fluent in the first language of fait, the language of scripture.
Join the growing number of Vinlanders who are committing to daily Bible reading beginning  January 1, 2009.  There will be Bibles available for purchase that are specially formatted so that you can easily read through the whole Bible in one year…or two years – the choice is yours.
There will also be opportunities to gather once a month and discuss what we have been reading together.  Take control of your time in ’09…make scripture a part of your daily life.
